PEA RIDGE — Richard Anthony Bone AKA Tony or Fred, 49, of Pea Ridge, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2018.
Tony was born November 2, 1968 at Bates Hospital in Bentonville, Arkansas to Johnny and Joyce Bone of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. He graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1987. After graduating from high school Tony went to work for Glad Manufacturing in Rogers. In 2000 Tony and his brother Johnny Bone Jr. set out to race full time. Shortly after making that decision B&B Racing Supply was developed to provide products and assistance to racers. Since 2004 B&B Racing Supply has been perfecting several different chassis by Bone. B&B Racing Supply does all kinds of sheet metal work and has become a trusted choice for quality race parts. Tony was highly respected by all who knew him for his knowledge and expertise in the racing industry. Tony is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Bone, Sr.; grand-parents, Duly and Beatrice Bone; Uncle Eddie (Vera) Bone; cousin Darrell Bone and grandparents, Francis and Hazel McNelly.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce (McNelly) Bone of the home; a brother, Johnny Bone, Jr. and wife Kendy of Pea Ridge; aunts, Virginia Warren, Pat and Gary Stanfield, Lometa Sandlin all of Bentonville; Linda and Hank Gorman of Jane, Missouri, Lawanda and Don Shockley of Powell, Missouri, Jerry and Lavina McNelly, Mary and Calvin Dillow of Pineville, Missouri; cousins, Brently Bone, Hailey Bone, Debbie Evans, Ricky Bone and many cousins and friends.
Service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at First Baptist Church, 1650 Slack Street (Hwy 72) in Pea Ridge with Pastor Bonnie Austin and Pastor Larry Marler officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 at the church. Burial will be in Buttram Chapel Cemetery.
The Bone family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy., Bentonville, Ark., 72712.
