When Cora Abigail Scruggs was born on December 25, 1886, in White, Arkansas, her father, Robert, was 33, and her mother, Martha, was 24. She married Isom Jerry Noble in June 1903. They had eight children in 19 years. She died on April 24, 1961, in her hometown at the age of 74, and was buried in Walker, Arkansas.
