Robert William Overman, age 72 of Route 1, Camden, died early Monday morning in a local hospital. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Lula Overman of the home; four sons, England, Marnis and John Overman all of Camden, R. W. Overman, Jr. of Orange, Texas; one daughter Mrs. Linda Arnold of Jackson, Alabama; two sisters Mrs. Fannie Hinsley and Mrs. Attie Ogden both of Sparkman; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Services are being held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Camden Funeral Chapel, with burial in Holly Springs Cemetery. (Camden News - September 2, 1969)
