JoAnn Word, 79 of Camden, passed way peacefully in the comfort of her home Sunday, August 13, 2017. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Word is preceded in death by her husband’s, James Harold Cranford of 34 years and Billy R.Word; parents, John Logan and Mamie Ester Banks King; son, James Michael Cranford; sisters, Ebby Turner, Ethel Tiner and Billie Smith and brother, John King.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam Wright and husband, Eddie of Bearden, AR and Chris Williams and husband, Rodney of Sheridan, AR; brother, Sonny King of Houston, TX; sister, Sue Chambliss of Fordyce, AR; grandchildren, Amy Williams and husband, Bill Don of Camden, AR, Aaron Williams and wife, Mallory of Little Rock, AR and Malory Watson and husband, Matt of Minden, LA; great-grandchildren, Michael West, Beckham, Emma and Harmony; host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at Proctor Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday,. August 15, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Anthony Tropp and Aaron Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery.
