NATCHEZ, MISSISSIPPI-Graveside services for Audrey Fay Sims Everett, 67, of El Dorado, who died Friday, June 22, 2007, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Natchez City Cemetery.
Burial will follow under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home, Camden, Ark.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Everett was born July 8, 1939 in Natchez, the daughter of Rayford and Monell Smith Lofton. She worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist for General Dynamics and the U. S. Navy, retiring from China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station in Ridgecrest, Calif. in 1996. Audrey was a devoted wife and mother who adored her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Fulton "Bobby" Sims Jr.; her parents; a brother, James Ray Lofton and a sister, Vicki L. Lofton.

Survivors include her husband, Chester D. Everett; sons, Stan Sims and wife, Belinda, of El Dorado, Ark., Jay Sims and wife, Lise, Chris Sims and wife, Jamie, of Camden, Ark., Jeff Sims of Front Royal, Va. and Jon Sims of Ridgecrest, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Crystal Monaghan of Lafayette; a stepson, Clinton Everett of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Carol Rushing; a brother, Jackie Lofton of Natchez; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
