Ada Claudine Parsons Hicks, age 86, of Searcy, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2009. She was born at Griffithville, Arkansas on April 10, 1922 to John Thomas and Lillie Francis (Eakers) Waggle. She was the last living charter member of Higginson Assembly of God Church. She also enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Chambers Joe Parsons of fifty-nine years and Bernice Hicks; daughters Wilma Lee and Judy Lynn; sons Earnest Wilbur Parsons, Sr. and Elvis Doyle Parsons, Sr.; three brothers and one sister. Surviving her are eleven children, Dorothy Hendrix and husband Johnny of McRae, Ruby Burns and husband Bobby of Beebe, Odas Parsons, Sr. and wife Robin of Benton, Paul Parsons, Sr. of Searcy, JoAnn Kidd and husband Sidney of Higginson, Patsy Zachary and husband Jimmy of Higginson, Danny Parsons and wife Debra of Searcy, James Parsons, Sr. and wife Becky of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Eddie Parsons and wife Terri of Eufaula, Alabama, Sandra Snelson and husband Dale of Higginson, and Metza Edwards and husband Gary of Edgemont; thirty-seven grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Waggle; and a sister, Louella English, both of Searcy.
