Guyla J. Bandy

Guyla J. Bandy of Flippin, Arkansas, went to her Savior, June 4, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89. She was born March 27, 1931, in Rea Valley, Arkansas, the daughter of Loyd and Mary Baker Hopper. She married Leonard Bandy on April 2, 1990, in Missouri and worked as a RN in a hospital and nursing care facilities. Guyla was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flippin, Arkansas. She was a faithful servant of her Lord, a kind and generous soul, who always had a smile on her face.

Guyla is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Wigington of Harrison, AR and Joann (Ross) Alexander of Flippin, AR; step-daughters, Sandy Wilson and Linda Redd both of CA and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; plus a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and three brothers, Loyd Jr., Leonard Thomas and Donnie Hopper.

A Graveside Service for Guyla will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Hand Valley Cemetery, with Reverend Aaron Lindsey officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Bull Shoals, Arkansas.
