Denzel Warren Sanders, 69, of West Fork, died Sunday, October 29, 1995, at his home.

Born June 15, 1926, at Cardwell, Mo., he was the son of James Thomas and Valeria Craig Sanders. He was a retired construction worker and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He moved to northwest Arkansas in 1972 from Bakersfield, Calif., and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are his wife, Oda Campbell Sanders; a son, Chief Warrant Officer Dennis Warren Sanders of Fayetteville, currently on duty with the U.S. Army in Haiti: two daughters, Theresa Malone and Cindy Tabor, both of West Fork; three brothers, James Sanders of Bakersfield, Calif., Charles Sanders of Fayetteville and Harlan Sanders of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Edna Newton of Bakersfield; and seven grandchildren, Michelle Mounce, Jaimey Malone, Michael Mounce, Michelle Malone, Sara Jane Sanders, Allison Tabor and Andrew Tabor.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the West Fork Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Hassell officiating.

Service under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
