August 31, 1920 - February 26, 2013
Genevieve Crow Grabert, 92 of Camden, AR passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Village Springs Health and Rehabilitation in Hot Springs, AR. She was born August 31, 1920 in Oil City, LA to Peter and Vetie Jackson Clements. Mrs. Grabert was a long-time, faithful member of First Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Watts Department Store. Upon her retirement from Watts, she began a second career as a volunteer for the Ouachita County Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Grabert was honored for her work with the Auxiliary when she was named Camden’s Woman of the Year.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Vetie Jackson Clements; and her husbands, Malcolm W. Crow and Clarence Grabert, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Barry Crow and wife, LaFran of Hot Springs, AR; daughter, Donna Kay Dudney of Crossett, AR; grandchildren, Kimberly Hegwood and husband, Truitt of Hot Springs, AR, Greg Crow and wife, Rebeca of Harrison, AR, Shannon Bolin of North Little Rock, AR and Ashley Outlaw and husband, Todd of Conway, AR; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Grabert will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Richard Piles will officiate the services. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 348 W. Washington, Camden, AR 71701
