Dean A. Mogle, 73, of 832 Gravel Pit Road, died in a local hospital Friday. Services were to have been in Memorial Park under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Mr. Mogle was a former grocery man and gift shop operator, a member of the Center St. Assembly of God Church and a veteran of WWII. He managed the Nor-So Art studio for 18 years and was a meat cutter at various places in Camden, Pine Bluff and Smackover. He was born Nov. 11, 1902, the son of James and Sadie Jackson Mogle. He served as a flight instructor with Army Air Force Southwest Air Command in Camden and chief of the instructor school. He returned to Camden in 1942. He is survived by his wife, Becky Stafford Mogle; two sons, Dean Moble (sic) Jr. of Walkerton, Ind. and Herbert Moble (sic) of Elkhart, Ind; two stepsons, Danny Biggers of Columbus, Ohio and Dennis Biggers of Ruston, La.; one daughter Jackie Bryan of Niles, Mich., one step-daughter, Donna Jean McDonald of Camden; one brother James A. Mogle of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Lorene Cameron of Ainsworth, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. (Camden News - September 27, 1976)
