Glenda Dell Porter-Turner, 72, of Harrell died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
Born May 22, 1941 in Hampton, she was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Hampton where she served as pianist for many years.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Nathan "Slick" Porter (41481520) and Althea Ray Drummond-Porter (41481591).
She is survived by her husband, Harold M. Turner of Harrell; son, Harold N. (Hal) Turner and Pam of Harrell; daughter, Deanna Turner Mercer and David of Euless, TX; brother, Perry L. "Skip" Porter and Lora of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Kirby N. Gibson and Kyle of Fordyce, Kaytlin D. Turner of Norphlet, Mitchell Butler of Monticello; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kyler Gibson of Fordyce; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be held at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Husser and Rev. Eddie Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Earnest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton/Fordyce.
