Margie Madeline Ames, 91, of Chouteau, Oklahoma died October 4, 2014 in Mayes County Medical Center, Pryor, Oklahoma. Borne September 2, 1923 in Angular, Colorado, she was the daughter of Leander Rosiline and Ethel (Winfrey) Bailey. She and Daryel Ames were married in 1940; he preceded her in death. They owned Ames Grocery in Chouteau, Oklahoma. She was a member of Chouteau Community Christian Church, Chouteau, Oklahoma.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include daughters Barbara Mangrum and husband John of Lago Vista, Texas and Ronda Cunningham of Chouteau, Oklahoma; son–in-law Johnny Lee Cunningham of Chouteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren Johnny Daryel Cunningham and wife Brenda, James Cunningham and wife Christin and Tina Mangrum; great grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Cunningham and Bailey Arnold; and sister Dortha Fingerlin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Minister Robert “Bob” Staggs officiating. Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. till service time, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
