When Pless Geisline Penn was born on February 13, 1903, in Arkansas, his father, Hosea, was 27 and his mother, Harriett, was 27. He married Martha M Bell on July 17, 1926. They had three children during their marriage. He died on December 6, 1973, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, at the age of 70, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
