Fletcher Dewberry Johnson
(dates unknown)
According to Drew County Cemetery Book, compiled in 1982 by the Drew County Extension Homemakers Council, the following history is written:
Land was given by the Dewberry family in the mid 1800's for this cemetery. It was later known as the Johnson Cemetery, when J.E. (Johnny)Johnson bought the land. J.E. Johnson married Fletcher Dewberry May 10, 1877. She is buried in this cemetery, (stone gone), but when J.E. died, the weather was so bad and the road into the cemetery so impossible to travel, they buried him at the Lacey Cemetery where other family members are buried.
