D. O. Wilson, 71, of 2510 Adams Avenue died Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Proctor. Mr. Wilson was a member of Timothy Methodist Church. He was also a Mason, a former Lions Club member and president of the Ouachita County Singing Convention. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Orah Thurman Wilson, one son, Sr. Msgt. Gary D. Wilson of Hawaii, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Joe Gray of Reedsport, Oregon, one brother, Fred Wilson of Magnolia, two sisters, Mrs. Novie Hawkins and Mrs. Agnes Wilson, both of Camden, and four grandchildren.
