ROPERS — Carl Knox, 86, of Rogers, passed away Jan. 25, 2014, in Rogers. He was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Indiahoma, Okla., the son of George W. and Dollie Smith Knox. Carl was raised in Apache, Okla., and served in the United States
Navy. He was a life insurance salesman. Carl was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Rogers, Rogers Breakfast Kiwanis he was past lst. President and Lt. Governor and the Rogers/ Bentonville Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Lloy Wightman Knox of the home; two children Kimberly Whitehorn and husband Robert of Rogers and Dr. Steven Knox and wife Sally of Dalton, Georgia; seven grandchildren Paul and William "Mac" Whitehorn, Adam. Emily, Laura, Sarah and David Knox and two great grandchildren Henry and Jacob Knox.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 today at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers. Funeral services with full military honors will be 11 Tuesday at the funeral home with graveside services at 1 at the West Fork Cemetery, West Fork, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's or Operation Reboot c/o American Legion Post 100 in Rogers.

ROGERS — Lloy Frances Knox, 88, of Rogers passed away June 24, 2016, in Rogers. She was born June 13, 1928, in Westlock, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Frank and Gerta Olson Wightman.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rogers. Lloy enjoyed spending time with her Birthday Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Knox.
She is survived by two children, Kimberly Whitehorn and husband, Robert of Rogers, Dr. Steven Knox and wife, Sally of Dalton, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Paul and William "Mac" Whitehorn, Adam, Emily, Laura, Sarah and David Knox and four great-grandchildren Henry, Jacob, William and Georgiana Knox.
Visitation 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth, Rogers. Graveside services 10 a.m. Tuesday at West Fork Cemetery, West Fork, Ark., with Chaplain John Pate officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan Community Center, P.O.
