Clyde Newton Helsby, 75, died yesterday morning in a local hospital. He was a retired mechanic and blacksmith and had lived in West Fork for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was born in Pottawatomie County, Kan., the son of John and Anna Helsby.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Margaret Helsby, of the home and a sister, Mrs. Aradell Powers of Pasadena, Calif.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel with burial in West Fork Cemetery.
