Bessie Lee (Boyce) Burnett, 75, of Cabot, died Thursday, October 16, 2014. She was born August 6, 1939 in San Jose, California a daughter of the late Archie and Hattie Mae Anderson Boyce. Bessie was a member of the Cross Point Ministries in Beebe and enjoyed yard sale, camping, fishing, playing cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Eva Fisher (Jon), Walter Harold Gilbert (Brenda), Harold Gene Gilbert (Debra), Kathleen Sapp (Jack), Earnest Lee Gilbert, Charles Lynn Gilbert, Robert Leonard Gilbert, Jessica Marie Hale (John) and James David Ray Wooten (Amy); brother, Archie Boyce, Jr.; 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Cody Allen Wooten and Alec William Mitchell Allison; great-grandchildren, Madison and Landon Howard; brothers, Jack, Dallas, Leon, Jimmy, Lloyd and Charlie Boyce; sisters, Cordie Boyce, Alice Elliott, Betty Votaw and Clara Ford.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services are Sunday, October, 19, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Velvet Ridge Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob - Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
