ROGERS — Ruth Belle Roberts Morris, 88, of Rogers died March 20, 2006, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Ky. She was born May 18, 1917, in Best to William and Suzie Laftus Roberts.
She retired as head cook from Westside Elementary School in Rogers. She was a former plant supervisor for Proctor Potato Chip and Distributor Plant. She was a Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Morris, and one grandson, Terry Shaffer.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Sue Shaffer and husband Robert of Grayson; one granddaughter, Robin Rodgers and husband Dale of Grayson; two grandsons, Michael Shaffer and wife Darlene and Gregory Shaffer and wife Donita, all of Grayson; eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rogers Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
