Jack A. Haynes, Sr, aged 57 of 745 Glassell Drive, layout man for the Camden Monument Company died in a local hospital early Sunday Morning. Mr. Haynes was a native of Yocum, Texas, and lived at Pine Bluff before moving to Camden in 1952. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Carroll Haynes; one son, Jack A. Haynes, Jr. of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. Robert W. Lewis, and Mrs. Johnny Mac Curtis both of Camden; his mother, Mrs. H. E. Haynes of Yoakum, Texas; two brothers, H. L. Haynes, and Virgil Haynes both of Yoakum, Texas; and by one grandchild, Pamela Sue Lewis of Camden. Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Proctor Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Ben Bracken. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Casket bearers are C. E. Parker, S. K. Clark, W. A. Bell, Jr., Jimmy Methvin, Grady Hardin, and Bill Furr. (Camden News - April 1, 1963)
