Iris Lucelle Williams, 94, of Flippin, formerly of London, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center in Flippin. She was born November 1, 1918, at Mantorville, Minnesota, to Everett Milo and Eva Mary Eckhardt Lloyd. She was a former employee of Friendship School, and she and her late husband, James Raymond Williams, built and were the administrators of Legacy Lodge Nursing Home until their retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Gary Charles Williams; a brother, Milo Lloyd; and three sisters, Laura Ferencik, Lettie Bellinger and Florence Hoskins.
Survivors include her sons, James L. Williams of London and David A. Williams of North Little Rock; a daughter, Aleta Mattingly of Everton, Arkansas; two daughters-in-law, Cindy Williams of North Little Rock and Bonnie Williams of Pleasanton, California; a sister and three brothers-in-law, Wanda and Bob Valley, Charles Bellinger and John Ferencik; 11 grandchildren, Raymond Williams, Jeremy Williams, Jennifer Buttram, Joanna Gauthier, Joshua Williams, Isaac Williams, Laura Mattingly, Hannah Williams, Zane Mattingly, Matthew Williams, and Johnny Mattingly; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Rest Haven Memorial Park, with the Rev. Chuck Reynolds officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers will be David Williams, Jeremy Williams, Isaac Williams, Zane Mattingly, Johnny Mattingly and Mike Ratzlaff.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, from 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.
