Joyce Laverne Watkins, 83, died Monday, August 10, 2015. She was born February 19, 1932 in Missouri the daughter of the late Billy and Mattie Mae (Ramey) Carver. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford and a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Chris C. Robbins; daughters, Carla J. Dunn (Jesse), Tracy King (Ricky) and Rachel A. Landis (John); three grandchildren, Dathan Robbins, Kristin Laire and John Daniel Landis; two great-grandchildren, Dillion Robbins and Gunner Laire; two sisters, Janetta Hicks and Faye Langston and a brother, Terry Carver. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Shelia Elaine and Teresa Diane Robbins; five sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Services will be Thursday, August 13, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at the Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford. Interment will follow in the Velvet Ridge Cemetery. When Joyce Laverne Carver was born on February 19, 1932, in Steele, Missouri, her father, William, was 29, and her mother, Mattie, was 29. She married Clifton Columbus Robbins and they had two children together. She also had four children from another relationship. She died on August 10, 2015, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, at the age of 83, and was buried there.
