Floyd Dale Stovall, Sr., 85, of Imboden, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Tx. Born in Imboden, May 7, 1934 to Oscar Floyd and Thirsa Avis (Brightwell) Stovall. He was a Navy Veteran and lived in Helena for a number of years. Floyd worked at the Helena World Daily Newspaper and was a member of the Imboden Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 43 years; Virginia "Gail" (Eames) Stovall and his sister, Ava Jean Stovall.
Survivors include his son, Floyd Dale (Stephanie) Stovall Jr., of Whitehouse, TX; sister Barbara (Richard) Woods of Imboden; four grandchildren, Abbygail, Adam, Stephen and Samantha all of Whitehouse, TX.
Gevan Murphy will be officiating. A private burial will be in Hope Cemetery at Imboden. There will be a memorial announced at a later date due to the current CDC regulations.
Services are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
