Edgar M. Parker, 78, of El Dorado died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 19, 1889 - in Nevada County, Ark., the son of Gus and Molly Bearden Parker. Survivors include one son, Troy Parker of Camden; three daughters, Mrs. Margie Clayton of El Dorado, Mrs. Ethel Garrison of Camden; and Mrs. Gertie East of Rosston; two brothers, Everett Parker of Mountain Home and Brady Parker of Bearden; one sister, Mrs. Mae Norman of Rosston; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Rocky Hill Methodist Church near Bluff City. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery near Bluff City under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home.
