James C. McKelvey, aged 76, died at his home in Bluff City Sunday morning. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Leroy McKelvey of Prescott, and Ruel McKelvey of Bluff City; one daughter, Mrs. Hartwell Irvin of Camden; one brother, O. S. McKelvey of Rosston; three sisters, Miss Ester McKelvey, Miss Beulah McKelvey and Mrs. Mattie Clark all of Rosston; and by ten grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday (today) at Ebenezer Church near Bluff City conducted by Rev. H. R. Nabors of Chidester. Burial was in Ebenezer cemetery by Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
