Rebecca Evangeline Roach was born on March 7, 1856, in Arkansas, the daughter of Louisa and John. She married Thomas Jefferson Pryor and they had 12 children together. She also had one daughter from another relationship. She died in 1952 in New Albany, Indiana, at the age of 96.

When Thomas Jefferson Pryor was born on August 14, 1858, in Peach Orchard, Arkansas, his father, Luke, was 24 and his mother, Mary, was 24. He married Rebecca Evangeline Roach in 1875. They had 12 children in 17 years. He died on October 30, 1911, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 53, and was buried in West Point, Arkansas.
