Leslie E. Skaggs of Combs, Arkansas, was born June 10, 1932, in Spoke Plant, Arkansas, and died July 20, 2015, at Heroes’ Haven in the Fayetteville VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 83. He was a retired mechanic, a member of the American Legion, and of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Faubus Skaggs; his parents, Orville R. and Candy Hoskins Skaggs; a step-daughter, Shauna; and a brother, Corbin (Cole) Skaggs.
He is survived by his son, Edwin “Eddie” Skaggs of Clarksville, Arkansas; a brother, Orban (Bill) Skaggs of Illinois; a sister, Syble Skaggs Baker of West Fork, Arkansas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Linda Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Oark Cemetery in Oark, Arkansas.
