Mrs. Mary Myers Hardy, age 96, of Forrest City, died Monday at her home in Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past several months.
Mrs. Hardy was born April 30, 1919, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Leslie and Mamie Myers.
She lived in Forrest City all of her life, was a housewife, and was a member of the Widener Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hardy married Ocie Hardy in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by four nieces; Brenda, Nancy, Greata, and Barbara and two nephews; David and Chris.
Services for Mrs. Hardy will be held Graveside, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
