Kay Walker, 65, of Altus, Arkansas died Sunday, February 16, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a Billing Clerk for Tyson Foods and a member of the Altus First Baptist Church. She was born October 14, 1954 in Kilgore, Texas to Spencer and Madeline McGaughey Golden. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kay is survived by her husband, Everett Walker of Altus; three daughters, Michelle Cordle of Killeen, TX, Lori Smith of Ozark, and Amanda Pruitt of Altus; two sons, Everett Walker II of Alma and Jimmy Smith, Jr of Ozark; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, February 20th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2020 at Altus First Baptist Church with Brother Robert Nuckolls officiating and burial at Houston Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are John Pruitt, Joseph Harmon, Lee and Anthony West, Jimmy Smith, Jr., and Lance Phillips.
