Avery Nell Mantooth of Ozark, Arkansas, died Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Ozark. She was a retired Nurse’s Aide and of the Baptist Faith. She was born November 18, 1936 in Oak Bend Community of Franklin County, Arkansas to Rudy and Melba Walker Bonds. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Van Mantooth; and son, Billy Joe Gude.
She is survived by a son, James Gude of Batesville, Arkansas; a daughter, Mary Alice White and husband Kevin of Mt. Eden, Kentucky; two brothers, Earl Bonds and Jack Bonds both of Ozark; three sisters, Willa Pruitt and Carol Willhite of Ozark and Ione Daniel of Clarksville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jamie, Justin, Brandi, and Jason; five great grandchildren, Madison, Hatti, Samuel, Foster and Hayden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Daniel Kesterson officiating and burial at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin and Randall Bonds, Greg Willhite, John Daniel, Dillon Harty, and Seth Foster; honorary pallbearers are Bryan Pruitt, Sean Foster, Justin Tolbert, Cody Harty and Jake Allred.
