Lucy Jane (Gilbert) Sampley November 27, 1932 - February 09, 2019
Lucy Jane Sampley, 86, of Altus, Arkansas died Saturday February 9, 2019 in Ozark. She was retired from Clarksville Shoe Plant and was a member of Full Gospel Temple in Ozark.
She was born November 27, 1932 in Coal Hill, Arkansas to William Henry Campbell and Rosie Lee Gilbert. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Henry Sampley; and a granddaughter, Catherine Rose Sampley.
She is survived by five sons, Tommie Sampley of Branson, Missouri, Johnny Sampley of Mulberry, Arkansas, Ronnie Sampley of Lincoln, Arkansas, Robert Sampley of Alma, Arkansas, and Lonnie Sampley of Ozark; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Full Gospel Temple in Ozark with Brothers Donnie Simpson and Benton Iles officiating and burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix. The Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, February 11th, at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
