Peoria - Jean (Evva Jean) Guzzo, of Peoria, AZ, passed away on February 5, 2018. She was born July 23, 1927, in West Point, AR, daughter of Ray and Rachel Talburt. She was a member of Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church.

Jean was an extraordinary woman who kept her children and family first. She will be remembered for her sweet, kind personality.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Sam Guzzo; her sister, Patsy Parillo; her son, James Byron Brickley; and her son-in-law Jerry McCalla. She is survived by her children: Betty (Betts) McCalla, Peoria, AZ; Melody Hernan (Ronald), Mount Vernon, IL; Clelia (Clo) Brickley (John Kinebrew), San Diego, CA; Deborah Campbell (Patrick), Plainfield, IL; and Charles Brickley, Countryside, IL; her brother James Talburt, Searcy AR; her sister, Sue Azemopoulos (Sam), Conway, SC; and her grandchildren: Ryan, Marijo, Laura, and Matthew Hernan; Melissa Campbell; and Brian, Tom, Stephanie, and Daniel McCalla.

Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018, 10:00AM, at Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church, 14403 N 75th Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85381. Burial will be at West Point Cemetery, West Point, AR.
