Mary Jim Bright of Olathe, Kansas formerly of Ozark, Arkansas died Monday, January 14, 2019 in Olathe. She was a homemaker. She was born January 1, 1936 in Jethro Community Franklin County, Arkansas to Hulit and Thelma Davis Cowan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Bright.
Mary is survived by a son, Rick Bright of Olathe, Kansas; a daughter, Linda Rockers of Beaverton, Oregon; six grandchildren, Dana Jackson of Olathe, Michelle Vidalez of Hillsboro, Oregon, Sandra Bright, Rickey Bright, Jonathan Bright, and Samantha Habrock all of Olathe; three great grandchildren, Alex and Hayley Jackson, and Cohen Habrock; and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2019 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Bennett officiating and burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Alexander Jackson, Jacob Layton, Keith Bright, Joe and Tony Bond, and John Bennett.
Family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM Friday, January 18th at Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
