Maudie Ozella Hendon, 74 of Olive Branch, MS died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Southaven, MS. She was born October 2, 1938 in Etowah, Arkansas to Forrest and Elizabeth Chambers Adkins. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, James H. Hendon of Olive Branch, MS; one daughter, Leslie J. Collins (Frank) of Senatobia, MS; one granddaughter, Jaclyn Danielle Collins of Senatobia, MS; one great grandson, Brantley Rhett Tomlin; her mother, Elizabeth Adkins of Englewood, FL; two sisters, Betty Foreman of Charlotte, NC and Barbara Ann Armstrong of Englewood, FL; and two brothers, Charles Adkins of Englewood, FL and Murphy Wayne Adkins of Tallahassee, FL.
