When Manerva A Pittman was born on March 14, 1836, in Mississippi, her father, Mortimore, was 27, and her mother, Martha, was 23. She had one son and one daughter with Mr. Hamilton. She then married Richard Christian Risener and they had seven children together. She died on April 29, 1908, in Richwoods, Arkansas, at the age of 72, and was buried there.

When Richard Christian Risener was born on December 20, 1841, his father, George, was 30 and his mother, Margarette, was 19. He married Manerva A Pittman in 1866 in Arkansas. They had seven children in 15 years. He died on August 3, 1899, in Mountain View, Arkansas, at the age of 57, and was buried in Richwoods, Arkansas.
