When Modena A Sanford was born on December 20, 1895, in Missouri, her mother, Sena, was 18. She had seven children with David Edward (Dave) Lucius. She died on March 31, 1979, in Wauconda, Illinois, at the age of 83, and was buried in Lepanto, Arkansas.

When David Edward (Dave) Lucius was born on July 15, 1882, in Webster, Mississippi, his father, William, was 30 and his mother, Mary, was 28. He had seven children with Modena A Sanford. He died on April 10, 1963, in Lepanto, Arkansas, at the age of 80, and was buried there.
