Winford J. Mulkey, 56, of Siloam Springs died Saturday, Jan. 14, 1995, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 20, 1938, in Monett, Mo., the son of Ted and Beullah Mulkey, he married Joyce Hirsch on April 23, 1960, in Pierce City, Mo. He was employed by the city of Siloam Springs for 31 years, holding various positions including city comptroller and treasurer. He was a member of the Siloam Springs R.C. Modelers Club and a veteran of the Navy.
Survivors are his wife, of Siloam Springs; two sons, Greg Mulkey and Patrick Mulkey, both of Siloam Springs; his mother, Beullah Mulkey of Monett, Mo.; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Jack Steele officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

Marylin Joyce Mulkey, 70, of Siloam Spirngs, AR passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Bentonville, AR. She was born on January 20, 1942 in Pierce City, MO to the late Wright and Dora Hirsch. Joyce married Winford J. Mulkey on April 23, 1960 in Pierce City, MO. She worked and retired from Simmons Industries, was part of the Travel Masters and the Red Hat Society. She was of the Catholic faith. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Wright Everett Hirsch and Dora Elbert Hirsch; her husband, Winford J. Mulkey; one brother, Fred J. Hirsch. Survivors include: Two Sons: Greg Mulkey of Siloam Springs, AR Patrick Mulkey of Siloam Springs, AR Two Brothers: Jerry Hirsch of Pierce City, MO Jon Hirsch of Springfield, MO Two Sisters: Jeanie Harmon of Aurora, MO Margaret Miller of Overland Park, KS One grandchild, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel with the Rev. Gary Wheat and Father Salvador officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, AR.
