When Laura Leona Young was born on July 25, 1883, in Greene, Missouri, her father, John, was 27, and her mother, Lucinda, was 23. She married Henry Thomas Hall on November 3, 1913, in Arkansas. They had eight children in 32 years. She died on October 18, 1956, in Arkansas at the age of 73, and was buried in Poinsett, Arkansas.
