When George William Moran was born on March 9, 1923, in Blairstown, Missouri, his father, George, was 30 and his mother, Stella, was 24. He had two children from one relationship. He died on December 20, 2009, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 86, and was buried there.

Betty Lorene Moran, 92 of Searcy passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. She was born in Greenwood, Arkansas on December 28, 1925 to the late Andy and Maudie Wright Hughart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Moran, and two sisters Esther Hughart, and Barbara Kay Goddard.

Lorene is survived by one Daughter, Betty Delois Mckinney of Santa Clarita, California, two step children Greg Moran (Delores), and Kathaleen Eckroad (Don), two sisters Francis Nick, Nancy Parsley, and one brother William Hughart.

Lorene loved to travel and look at trees turning into their beautiful autumn colors; she also enjoyed going out to eat. She attended First Assembly of God Church, was a member of the Eastern Starr, and President of Southern California Envoy Beta Sigma Phi.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel, Searcy, AR.

A private family entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Searcy Arkansas.
