MANUEL THOMAS CRAWFORD, 74 of Corning, passed away in Corning Community Hospital, last Thursday. He was born Aug. 1, 1909 near Dalton, a son of the late Lawrence and Sarah Ona [sic] HIGGINS CRAWFORD. He was also a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Odorine SELBY CRAWFORD of the home; four sons, Bud CRAWFORD of Corning, Tom and Joel CRAWFORD of St. Louis, Mo, and Ronald CRAWFORD of E. St. Louis, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Delores ALBRIGHT of Washington, DC; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Thurman JOHNSON officiating. Burial followed in Corning Cemetery with McNabb's in charge.

Pallbearers were Gene SMITH, Danny BELL, Pete JAMES, Gene MILLER, Granvill SUMPTER, Bobby Dale WILLIAMS and Gerald MOORE. PSH Feb 20, 1984.
