December 2, 1924 - June 19, 1968
Juanita Wilson Lucas, 43, of Chicago, died Tuesday at her home in Chicago. She was born in Union County on Dec. 2, 1924, and was the daughter of W. H. and Emma Worthington Wilson. She lived in Chicago for the past eight years and is a member of the Episcopal Church. Survivors include her mother; her son, Jimmy Lucas; and a sister, Mrs. Emily Hicks of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held in the Rumph Mortuary Chapel Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Bray officiating. Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elmer Carey, Ervin Sewell, Q. R. Graner, Ronald Hicks, Boyd Wilson and DeWitt Howell. Services are under direction of Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - June 22, 1968)
