When Martha Elizabeth "Dot" Miser and her twin sister Martha W were born on September 17, 1916, in Arkansas, their father, George, was 30 and their mother, Lucy, was 26. She married IRA MONROE ABBOTT on February 20, 1937, in Harrisburg, Arkansas. They had three children two girls and one boy during their marriage. She died on October 29, 1997, in Trumann, Arkansas, at the age of 81.

When IRA MONROE ABBOTT was born on November 21, 1917, in Lepanto, Arkansas, his father, Elijah, was 45 and his mother, Della, was 40. He married Martha Elizabeth "Dot" Miser on February 20, 1937, in Harrisburg, Arkansas. They had one child during their marriage. He died on April 25, 2008, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 90.
Note:
Ira and Martha Abbott had 3 children 2 daughtera and 1 son.
