SPRINGDALE — Myra Bell Beal, 82, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 28, 2018. She was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Berryville, Ark., the daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Denny Stewart.
She attended Calvary Freewill Baptist Church and retired as a cook for the Springdale Public Schools after 30 years of service. She enjoyed camping and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.
Myra was preceded in death by two daughters, Tracy Beal and Leonda Otis; siblings, Charlie Stewart, Cleo Stewart, Melvin Stewart, Eldon Stewart, Keith Stewart, Wayne Stewart and Wanda Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Leon Beal of the home; daughters, Judi Ocampo and husband Jacob of Springdale, Ark., and Lisa Adams and husband Linn of Bella Vista, Ark.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave., Springdale, Ark., 72762, with Pastor Clark Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Billy Stewart, Gene Stewart, Donnie Johnson, Sheldon Adams, Jamie White and Raymond Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Linn Adams, Chris Adams and Cecilia White.
