SPRINGDALE - Juanita Pearl Apon, age 82, of Springdale, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, in Springdale. She was born July 30, 1935, in Paris, Ark., the daughter of Horace and Jewel Mae Wafer Sikes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Debbie Hoffarth; her son Jeff Apon; and her two sisters Emma Simpson and Helen O'Neal. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three sons, Dennis Apon and his wife Paula, Gary Apon, and his wife Debby and Lynn Apon; seven grandchildren, Jolea Apon, Jennifer Murders, Travis Apon, Aimee Apon, Arika Fite and her husband Wayne, Jordan Apon and his wife Kendra, and Jessica Hoffarth; seven great-grandchildren, Heather, Hannah, Michael, Alysa, Zayne, Ellie Jo, and Gracie Mae; six siblings, Marcia Baker, JD Sikes, RH Sikes, LC Sikes, Danny Sikes and Marietta Moore; and one son-in-law, David Hoffarth.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale. To sign the online guest book, visit www.nelsonberna.com
