OBITUARY
Marie Hill, 97, of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, October 23, 2017, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
She was born April 17, 1920, to John Thomas and Elizabeth Jones Cagle in Arkadelphia, AR. She previously worked as a clerk for TG&Y and was also co-owner for Hilltop Trailer Manufacturing. Marie was a long time member of Second Baptist Church and currently attended West Side Baptist Church. Marie and her late husband were active in Nail Benders. She enjoyed card games, Bingo, sewing and quilting. She did mending for Hudson Nursing Home. Marie and her husband also enjoyed fishing. Marie was known for her love of dogs. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Dennis B. Hill; daughter, Judy Owens; three brothers, Jewell, Ernest, Marshall Cagle; two sisters, Una Allison, and Eudell Smith; a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Hill and three grandchildren, Joey Hill, Tommy Hill and Mikey French. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Joe Hill (Wanda) of El Paso, TX, Rick Hill of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Wanda White (Charles) of Mission Viejo, CA, Voniece French (James) of El Dorado; son-in-law, Don Owens of El Dorado; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and ten great, great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Young’s. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Gerald Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
