HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Ruth L. Dutton, 76, of Hot Springs Village died March 14, 2002, at her home. She was born March 18, 1925, in West Fork to John Stevens and Mary Elizabeth Woods Loftin.
She was a member of the Women's 9-Hole Golf Association and the Wednesday Mixed Seniors Bowling League. She had retired after working 23 years for IGA Grocery in Fayetteville. She also was a hostess at the Village Supercenter in Hot Springs Village.
She was a member of the Village Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, William R. Dutton of Hot Springs Village; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Boyle of Prairie Grove; one brother, Andrew Loftin of Yuma, Ariz.; one sister, Beulah Bailey of West Fork; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Village Church of Christ, with the Rev. Jim Mabery officiating. Burial will be in West Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gene Ashley, Rick Northen, Ken Gilbert, Bill Stanley, Gary Thorson and Cecil Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Caruth Village Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
