Chloe Dean, 81, of 900 West Main, Huntsville, died September 24, 1998 at Meadowview Lodge Nursing Home at Huntsville. She was born March 13, 1917 at Reed's Creek, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter Turner and Beulah Tyretha Campbell Harwood. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. Dean on October 4, 1957, one son, Bobby Dean, one brother, Elmer T. Harwood and two sisters, Mrs. Roa Armstrong and Mrs. Ora Burgess.
Survivors include: one son, John Brantley Dean of Granbury, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Boody N. Parson of Fayetteville and Mrs. Sue Jo Watson of Huntsville, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Elder John Napier officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bob Parson, Jim Watson, Dwain Mitchell, David Saylor, Kevin Goss and Jimmy Harris, Jr.
