Therlow A. Abbott, 82 was born to Homer W. and Ethel Ferguson on July 17, 1929 in Floral, Arkansas and he passed from this life on July 12, 2012 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and papaw.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Alvis, Raydean Burnes Abbott and a sister Auta lee.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Ada B. Abbott, a son Roger (Debbie) of Broken Arrow, two daughters Diane Garrison (Glendle) of Searcy, Nena Johnston (Pat), of Bellview, IL., Grandchildren Tracy Teausseau (Ross), Jason Payne (Natalie), Kelly Frieze (Randy), Jacob Garrison, Mackeizie Simon, 7 Geat-Grandchildren, a brother Linos Abbott (Brenda) of Searcy, other relatives and friends.

He loved to fish, hunt and could tell many tales. He was a Christian and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ.

He loved his family very much and he missed all those that passed before him. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner.

He was in the Navy, serving in both the Korean War and World War II. He was on the Minesweeper U.S.S. Hawk. He was retired from the National Guard after serving 21 years.

Ada B. Abbott was born on August 12, 1932 to Archie and Maggie Williams Hulett and went to be with God on October 14, 2012. She was a servant of God. Always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She will be missed by all her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Therlow A. Abbott, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.

She is survived by her children Roger (Debbie) Abbott of Broken Arrow, OK, Diane (Glendle) Garrison of Searcy, AR. and Nena (Pat) Johnston of Belleville, IL., Grandchildren Tracy (Ross)Teauseau, Jason (Natalie) Payne, Kelley (Randy) Frieze, Jacob Garrison, Mackenzie Simon, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Howard Hulett, of Texas, Bobby Hulett of Washington, a host of nieces and nephews, and lots of beloved friends.
