Troy H. Allen, 78, of Pleasant Plains died February 19, 2007, in a Batesville hospital. Born August 26, 1928, at Pangburn, he was the son of Robert Pierce and Eunice Asalee Meharg Allen. He was a farmer and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Floral.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Allen; four sons, Robert Allen of Floral and Jerry Allen, Terry Allen and Donnie Allen, all of Pleasant Plains; a daughter, Barbara Barnhouse of Pleasant Plains; a brother, Jesse Northweather of Ashland Mo.; 26 gradnchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Naomi Osborne; and three grandchildren, Ladonna Marie Allen, Tyler Russell Allen and Robert Brandon Allen Jr.
Burial will be in McMullin Cemetery at Pleasant Plains.

Marjorie Allen age 80 of Pleasant Plains died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at her home. She was born December 4, 1934 at Yakima, Minnesota, the daughter of Peter and Marie Burk. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church at Floral.
She was preceded in death by her father Peter Burk; her mother, Marie Ryme; her stepfather, I.B. Ryme; her husband, Troy Hershel Allen; one son, Donald Ray Allen; five brothers; two sisters; one granddaughter, LaDonna Allen; one grandson, Tyler Allen and one great grandson, Robert Brandon Allen Jr.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Hershel Allen of Floral, Jerry Dale Allen, Terry Lynn Allen and Timmy Dale Walls all of Pleasant Plains; one daughter, Barbara Ann Barnhouse of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Helen Reyer of Minnesota; thirty-two grandchildren; sixty- two great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Bethel Baptist Church located at Floral with Bro. Randy Altom officiating.
Burial will follow in the McMullin Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Allen, Conan Allen, Donnie Ray Allen, Dennis Pearrow, Dennis Allen and Jerome Galloway.
Honorary pallbearers are Adam Stanford, Ronnie Barnhouse, Lucas Barnhouse, Shannon Allen, Brad Allen, Robbie Allen and Jimmy Allen.
