Mrs. Lillie Jane Akin, 69, of Floyd, died at a local hospital early this morning. She was the wife of Jessie L. Akin.
Surviving are two sons, Oscar L. and Guy E. of Floyd; one sister, Mrs. J. A. Atkin of Floyd; one brother, Will Barnett of El Paso; five half-sisters, Mrs. Ada Scott of Russell, Mrs. N. K. Finley of Matthews, Mo., Mrs. Dolly Edwards of Metropolis, Ill., Mrs. Harold Matthews of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Ralph Balletine of Katy, Tex.; four half-brothers, Virgil, of Floyd, L. H. of Gravel Hill, Herman of Searcy and Elbert Barnett of Floyd; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Floyd Methodist church at 1:30 Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Earl Harris of Beebe. Burial will be in the Floyd cemetery under the direction of the James funeral home.
